stands for Internet Relay Chat; it is considered the grandfather of all chat
rooms and instant messengers where people connect to a server, join a
channel and communicate with one another. IRC is designed for group
conversation; however, one-on-one private

Started in 1994 as an alternative to the overburdened networks of the time, DALnet has grown into a vibrant community and is widely regarded as the most "friendly" of the major IRC networks. DALnet pioneered nickname and channel registration, giving users the right and ability to govern their online experience, without the fear of channel takeover, impersonation or harassment. DALnet has always considered the well being of its users to be of paramount importance. This ideology has led to the development of extensive online and offline help systems over the years for users in need of assistance. From mailing lists to #OperHelp, DALnet's staff works diligently to serve its community of dedicated users.
DALnet's existence depends solely upon the goodwill of others. The equipment and bandwidth used to power each server is all donated as a service to the Internet community. All of DALnet's staff, helpers and coders alike, are volunteers who devote themselves selflessly to the good of the network and its users.
The future of DALnet depends upon these volunteers and the user base, which has always acted to support the DALnet IRC community. We feel many good things lie ahead and we look forward to seeing you online.
#QUEENZ HISTORY
#Queenz was
registered in October 2007 by Ruby, the famous chatter of #pakistan,
She managed this room with help of A-Shooter. At that time #Queenz was only
fem access, Ruby handed over charge of #Queenz to A-Shooter and left IRC.
After sometime A-Shooter handed over #Queenz to Ladyhawk and she became the
new owner. LadyHawk had a fight with the cops and her nick was seized and as
a result, the channel was dropped. In March, 2009 PrinceSs-Sana re-registered #Queenz and after few weeks she gifted it to `KinG, who is
a common friend of PrinceSs-Sana, Innocent^Lover and A-Shooter. `KinG handed #Queenz
to Innocent^Lover as he is very busy in life and unable to run it properly, since then Innocent^Lover is running this room on behalf of `KinG .
#Queenz is a female dominated
channel as the name suggests. The only channel on IRC where females stay n chat
respectably with comfort & ease. So Guys! beware or else
........... "gals martee bohat hain ......! :)
The point which
makes #QueenZ stands out among other channels is the swift action
against any complains launched by the users.
